Random Paleo Photo from the archives

And the next of my photos through the archives is this picture of the Huntington Mammoth from the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price, UT.

  1. The display has been considerably improved since this photo was taken. The mammoth is now treading through pleistocene flora and being hunted by skeletal homo sapiens - Paleo-Dave.

  2. Oh good point. I should have noted that the picture was taken back in May of 2011 (I think). The new exhibit sounds great. I can't wait to head back down there again to check it out.

  3. Paleo-Dave, I just noticed you posted an updated photo. You should have linked to it in your comment. Well here is the updated version Paleo-Dave mentioned in the first comment at his blog: http://paleo-tourist.typepad.com/the-paleo-tourist/2012/12/hunter-and-huntington.html
