So I really wanted to take this picture when I was in Yellowstone because I knew the main road crossed the Continental Divide a couple of time. What I really wanted was to pour two glasses of water on either side of the divide to show that those two glasses will be headed in opposite directions from now on. But what happened is in the picture above. What is wrong with the picture and why is my assumption not correct (which I knew at the time but my wife would not stop at another location)?
