As mentioned in the last post, Star Trek has had numerous geological and paleontological references over the years. Here is one from Deep Space 9.
The plot of this scene follows Dr. Julian Bashir playing a holosuite game pretending to be a geologist/spy. The scene has great geological call outs like "He would be very interested in meeting my husband, he's one of the leading geologists in the world" and "Baccarat and geology are my life."
